PROGRESS IN MY CITY!
When I saw this art mural being created I knew it was time for another edition of PROGRESS, which is a creative look on the changes happening throughout my city and attempt to archive it in motion.

The interesting part I have found about this series called PROGRESS, is that it does not have any definitive beginning or end point. There is an unpredictable aspect of not knowing when something I appreciate might change and possibly be gone tomorrow, or if something new might pop up in what previously seemed like empty space overnight.
Not knowing exactly when these changes will occur is part of what makes archiving how things are now so important. Capturing the current state of my city in photographs means the opportunity to show later on how things have changed.
The purpose of capturing progress in motion means attention to detail in everything around me and capturing it as it exists today because the changes might happen overnight or take time to be completed, but the results of PROGRESS is that anything before that now becomes a memory and a story to tell.
I did not capture this wall before the art mural installment began, yet seeing it in PROGRESS was a real opportunity to document the art installment project as it was being created.

The appearance of the flowers and the birds is so wonderful to see!
Seeing the PROGRESS of the art installment and the details with the flowers and the birds was a great surprise. I seek to visit the store and inquire on the artist’s name and any social media information. Once I have any contact details I will share it here!
