Raising canes was busy when I visited the premises today, with cars queued up around the restaurant for the drive thru line, and some real wans waiting in line inside to get some chicken. We are all wan!

Here’s the Story…..
So I found out what the disco ball represents! The disco ball was featured in a previous visit to the location while it was under construction, and at the time I did not know what the disco ball meant, but I know exactly why it is there now!!! According to Adam! Thanks, Adam!!

The first location for Raising Canes opened in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The first restaurant opened on April 28th 1996 right outside the gates of LSU’s main campus.
“There was a skylight that they were looking to cover, and our founder, Todd Graves decided to cover it with a disco ball and that theme has carried through…..”

When I spoke with Adam, he was kind enough to let me capture a voice recording so I could take notes!!!!! We love taking notes, here at LSTV!!
Along with the information about the disco ball, which in the video below you’ll see the mural on the side of the restaurant as you proceed through the drive thru line it is right next to the order pickup window.
